If I were to die

If I were to die,
Will my pride and glory shine,
I won’t make a single sigh,
As life has brought me to this point.
If I were to die,
Will I hear you cry,
As I fly up the open sky,
Will you be there to say good-bye.
If I were to die tomorrow,
Have no pain and have no sorrow,
Neither you nor your heart be filled with hollow,
Cause life and death, they come and go.
If I were to die tonight,
Ups and downs, I’ve gone through the flight,
At the end of the tunnel, will I see the light,
Will I be remembered as I disappear out of sight.
If I were to die now,
Will you offer me a respectful bow,
Or will you have a glance at me,
For I can no longer see.
If I were to die,
Gently sleeping as days passes by,
You will be safe in my memory,
As I return to God, peacefully.
