Crackling and popping, the fires are singing their joy
Smiles spreading far and wide on joyful faces
Around the world on faces of every girl and boy
For they all celebrate the coming of Christmas

What a joyous time to spread and share some cheer
The bells are ringing
And the choirs are singing
Christmas day is finally here!

Little kids surrounding the tree
Scouting out gifts their eyes can see
Excitement and laughter ascend the skies
What a wondrous day for Christmas is finally here!

Children surrounded by gifts and balloons aplenty
Mothers are bringing out the candies
Fathers are assembling the toys
What a blessed day to celebrate with the family!

People from far and wide are holding hands
With each putting their differences aside
What a day indeed to becomes brothers at heart
For the day of giving and celebration is finally here!

I know this poem is very messy but can’t really expect much from someone who has eaten her fill and is too relaxed and satisfied to move or care.
