A few days ago, I received an sms from a neighbour of mine and apparently, she’ll be giving a free beading session at her place to her fellow churchgoers and neighbours this coming Sunday around 2pm.

Honestly, I already know how to bead. Self-taught. I first learned how to bead in a shelter last year while I was working at the Women’s Aid Organization (WAO). Eventhough I don’t go there anymore and have not visited even once after leaving, I sometimes do still think of them. I really liked the people there, especially the children. If I were to go back, it would definitely be for the children. But I guess, life just rushed back into my life after my internship ended and a new semester started. But now that my degree is over, I’m looking to find a day to just go and see them but I remember from before that, if you wanted to visit the children, you would have to make it consistent because coming and going like that would disappoint the children…

After learning from WAO, I guess I got interested in it and started to dabble. Buying a starter kit and just played around and stuff. Seriously, my stuff aren’t that bad even. In fact, I more or less prefer to wear my own products. Why? Because I made it to suit my tastes.

I’d show you my products but I don’t have it right now. Maybe another day?

I’ve decided to attend the gathering on Sunday. Just to mingle with others. After several weeks cooped up at home, I’m down coming down with the flu. Not the swine flu mind you. Just a little under the weather from being dehydrated.

So, I’ll be bringing along my camera to the gathering on Sunday and will be taking loads of pictures and I guess, you all aren’t used to me posting so regularly now, huh? I can also guess that most of you have already lost faith in me keeping my blog up. But hear me out. I’m not giving up on my blogger spirit. I’m here to stay!
